Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Fanswer. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the platform. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you are agreeing to everything set out below.

1. Who We Are

Fanswer is operated by Fanswer Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales. References to "we", "us", and "our" throughout these Terms refer to Fanswer Ltd.

2. What Fanswer Is

Fanswer is a free fan engagement platform that lets you take quizzes about artists, festivals, venues, and other things you love. By completing quizzes, building streaks, referring friends, and taking part in other platform activities, you earn raffle tickets. You then choose which prize draw or draws you would like to enter using those tickets. You never need to pay anything to participate.

3. Accepting These Terms

By accessing or using Fanswer, including by completing a quiz, creating an account, or entering a prize draw, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

4. Eligibility

Fanswer is open to users of all ages. Prize draws involving age-restricted prizes — including alcohol, adult experiences, or other age-restricted content — will be clearly marked as 18+ on the platform. Users of any age may enter these draws. However, if you win an 18+ prize draw, you will be required to either verify that you are 18 or over through our identity verification process, or nominate a person of your choice who is 18 or over to receive and use the prize on your behalf. The prize will be issued directly to your nominee. The nominee will be required to complete identity verification before the prize is released. By nominating someone, you confirm they are 18 or over and consent to receiving the prize.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for providing accurate information when you register and for keeping your login details secure. You must not share your account with anyone else or create multiple accounts.

You agree not to use bots, scripts, automated tools, or any other method to artificially generate quiz completions, streaks, referrals, raffle tickets, or entries. We take a zero-tolerance approach to cheating or manipulation of the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently close any account that we believe has violated these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the situation.

6. How Raffle Tickets and Prize Draws Work

Fanswer is completely free to use. No payment is required to earn raffle tickets or participate in any standard prize draw.

You earn raffle tickets by taking part in activities on the platform. These currently include completing quizzes, maintaining daily streaks, and referring friends to the platform. Referral multipliers may apply where a referred user completes specific onboarding steps, which will be clearly explained in the platform at the time. We may introduce additional ways to earn raffle tickets through new game mechanics from time to time. Any new earning mechanic will be explained clearly when it is introduced.

Raffle tickets are yours to use as you choose. Once earned, you decide which active prize draw or draws you would like to enter, and how many of your tickets to allocate to each. You are under no obligation to enter any particular draw.

Each prize draw campaign has its own specific terms, including the prize description, draw date, eligibility criteria, entry conditions, and the number of tickets required per entry. These are displayed on the platform at the time of each campaign and form part of these Terms. See also our Raffle and Prize Rules.

Winners are selected through a fair and random process. Winners will be notified by email within 5 working days of the draw date. Any prize that remains unclaimed within 28 days of notification will be redrawn.

Your odds of winning depend on the total number of tickets entered into a given draw by all participants.

Raffle tickets have no monetary value, cannot be transferred between accounts, cannot be exchanged for cash or any other currency, and are non-refundable. Unused tickets may expire in accordance with any expiry terms communicated on the platform.

From time to time, Fanswer may offer optional premium features or paid prize campaigns. Any paid features will always be clearly labelled, entirely optional, and will never be a requirement to participate in standard prize draws. Free participation will always remain available.

We reserve the right to update prize structures, ticket allocation mechanics, and draw terms with reasonable notice to users.

7. Your Data and How We Use It

Your use of Fanswer is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains in full how we collect, store, use, and protect your personal data, and how you can exercise your rights under applicable data protection laws including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where relevant.

By creating an account and using Fanswer, you agree to the data practices described in this section and in our Privacy Policy.

Where you have provided consent through the platform — including by taking a quiz or entering a prize draw associated with a particular artist, promoter, festival, venue, label, brand, or other partner — Fanswer may share your data, including your name, email address, engagement activity, and quiz results, with that partner. This sharing will only take place where you have given consent, either at the time of the quiz or draw, or at a later point when a commercial relationship is formed between Fanswer and that artist or partner. By taking a quiz about an artist or partner on Fanswer, you are consenting to your details being shared with them if a commercial relationship is established in the future. You can withdraw this consent at any time through your account settings.

At the end of certain quizzes, you will be asked whether you consent to sharing your details with the featured artist or partner associated with that quiz. If you say yes, your details may be shared with that partner at that time, or at a future point if a commercial relationship between Fanswer and that partner is formed after you played. If you say no, your details will not be shared with that partner. You can withdraw this consent at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@fanswer.xyz.

Fanswer operates an in-platform messaging system through which we and our artist and partner network may send you relevant updates, campaign announcements, prize draw alerts, and offers. Where messages are sent on behalf of a partner, this will always be clearly identified. You can manage your messaging preferences — including opting out of partner messages independently of Fanswer messages — at any time in your account settings. Opting out of any category of messaging will never affect your ability to use the platform, earn raffle tickets, or enter prize draws.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@fanswer.xyz or through your account settings. Please note that deletion of your account will result in the loss of any raffle tickets and active entries held at that time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, software, and other materials on the Fanswer platform are owned by Fanswer Ltd or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create anything derived from any part of the platform without our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided as is and we make no guarantees about uninterrupted availability, accuracy of content, or outcomes of prize draws beyond what is stated in these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fanswer Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or any other jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, those protections apply to you in full and are not affected by anything in these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you retain the right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you via the platform or by email. Continued use of Fanswer after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you breach these Terms or any applicable law. The severity of the breach will determine whether we give advance notice.
